The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the Product Management are varied. The unit is responsible for all activities relating to the development and industrialization of battery cells. Responsibilities range from the preparation of technology roadmaps and portfolio planning to volume and cycleplan planning and the holistic program management for global battery projects.
How you will CELLebrate
- Responsibility for control including tracking of (IRA) product compliance topics in battery cell projects from pre-development to series production
- Developing and defining project scenarios to meet project objectives in line with (IRA) product compliance and project-critical issues (e.g. resolution of conflicting goals)
- Identify potential (IRA) product compliance risks and proactively implement strategies and solutions to minimize these risks
- Collaborating in cross-functional and cross-business teams with colleagues from cell development, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer
- Ensuring the appropriate project milestones along defined project KPIs in the product development process
- Deriving and defining fields of action through relevant benchmark analyses
- Proactively designing processes, methods and IT systems for continuous development in order to comply with the currently applicable industry standards and regulations and to be a benchmark
What you need for our CELLebration
- Successful studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry or law or have comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in the battery, chemical or automotive industries as well as in the areas of process development or product compliance
- In-depth knowledge of battery industry standards as well as relevant Canadian and American regulations
- Experience in the conception and moderation of workshops
- Fluent in German and English
