The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
Membership of the facility management team for the production of battery cells in one or more factories in Salzgitter, with a focus on supporting the operational infrastructure Collaborating with local PowerCo teams in Europe and North America to ensure coordinated strategy and effective communication across different regions Coordinating cross-project and project-specific costs, including target costing, budget management and monitoring of facility management cost KPIs and risk & opportunity management Interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with cost, quality and time targets Defining, developing and implementing new processes, IT systems and standards in facility management, in close coordination with relevant stakeholders and taking into account external and internal requirements Monitoring and analyzing budgets and cost variances, including preparing, updating and monitoring regular reports and being responsible for the approval process of procurement requests Traveling within Europe and North America to foster collaboration with international teams and ensure successful delivery of projects Ensuring deadlines, quality and cost targets in facility management, including the coordination of cost-related contractual matters
