About the Role

This is a flex hybrid work structure, where students can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.

 

PowerCo is seeking a co-op student to start in September for an 8-month term (with the possibility of extension) to support daily business activities within the Finance Department. This will be an opportunity to experience different facets of finance and accounting with project and tasked based work. 

 

  
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support activities related to AP. Follow up of invoices, Overdue invoices reporting, Supplier bank information validation.
  • Support activities related to travel expenses reimbursement. Reimbursement follow up, active communication with VWGS and travelers to solve problems.
  • Support month end activities. accounting bookings and reporting.
  • Support Finance and HR with HC planning a reporting processes.
  
 
What you bring to the Team
  • Current student enrolled in a Finance or Accounting Business undergraduate degree program at a University in Canada
