This role reports directly to the Manager, Talent Acquisition. We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to play a key role in building the talent pipeline for our innovative engineering, manufacturing, and technology teams. This role will be pivotal in identifying and securing top technical talent to support the growth of our North American battery plant.

How you will CELLebrate
|
This is a flex hybrid model, requiring 2 days in the St. Thomas office.
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles within electrification, battery technology, and automotive sectors.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop clear and precise technical job descriptions tailored to the unique needs of the business.
- Design and implement structured interview frameworks that assess both technical skills and cultural fit.
- Utilize advanced sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-caliber candidates through multiple channels, including LinkedIn, niche job boards, and other relevant networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, acting as a strategic advisor throughout the hiring process.
- Leverage data-driven insights to enhance recruiting strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage the candidate experience from initial outreach to offer, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
- Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) effectively to track recruitment metrics and maintain compliance; familiarity with SuccessFactors is an asset.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends in electrification, battery technology, and EV to proactively source talent and build pipelines for future roles.
- Participate in job fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to represent PowerCo Canada and strengthen our employer brand. Occasional travel may be required.

What you need for our CELLebration
|
- Post-Secondary Education in Business, Human Resources, or relevant experience.
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within technology, manufacturing, IT or related industries.

What else can you bring
|
- Experience developing job descriptions and creating interview frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and candidate evaluation methods.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); familiarity with SuccessFactors is an asset.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Occasional travel may be required for job fairs, events, and meetings.
