About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and strategic individual to lead organizational change initiatives and risk mitigation efforts across our battery cell factory ramp-up. This role combines structured risk management with change enablement, ensuring that transformation efforts are delivered smoothly, sustainably, and with minimal disruption.

 

Reporting to the Lead of Change Management and Risk, this individual will coordinate risk identification and mitigation, while also driving change management strategies that support stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project risk analysis, continuous improvement, and organizational change, with strong communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

 

This is a flex hybrid work structure, where employees can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.

  
 
Key Responsibilities

Risk and Opportunity

  • Identifies, assesses, and develops risks and opportunities in close collaboration with stakeholders
  • Maintain structured risk and change tracking databases, ensuring accurate documentation of mitigation actions, lessons learned, and change outcomes.
  • Promote a structured lessons-learned and change feedback process, supporting knowledge sharing and performance
  • Monitor KPIs related to risk control effectiveness and change adoption, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement. optimization.
  • Oversee incident response and crisis management planning, ensuring organizational resilience in the face of unforeseen risks or disruptions.

Change Management

  • Develop and execute change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, communication strategies, training, and adoption support.
  • Facilitate readiness assessments and feedback loops to monitor change effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Promote a structured lessons-learned and change feedback process, supporting knowledge sharing and performance optimization.

Strategic Integration & Governance

  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated risk and change management frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures integration into scheduling, cost, and decision-making processes
  • Ensures cross-functional alignment incl. Area Leads and Value Stream Mgmt

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver integrated reports that communicate risk exposures, change progress, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to the PMO Manager, Project Lead, and/or CEO, highlighting key risks, change impacts, and strategic recommendations.

Process Improvement

  • Introduces and advises on integration of advanced risk tools and processes
  • Ensures compliance with advanced risk standards and policies

Collaboration and Culture

  • Champion a culture of proactive risk management and change agility, fostering transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Facilitates regular updates and presentations to the PMO Manager, Project Lead, and/or CEO, highlighting key risks, change impacts, and strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate with other PM Team members to leverage cross-functional project synergies, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing across projects and teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or relevant to the position, contributing to the overall success of the PM and organization
  
 
What you bring to the Team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Organizational Development, or related fields and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in project environments, with proven expertise in risk management, continuous improvement, and change enablement.
  • Experience in automotive and/or e-mobility industry (challenges & opportunities) is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement change management strategies, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, training, and adoption support.In-depth knowledge of project management practices and the ability to build integrated frameworks for risk mitigation and change readiness.
  • Proven ability to coordinate the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial, operational, and organizational risks.
  • Experience capturing and analyzing lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities from project performance and organizational feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams, project managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a pragmatic approach to managing risk and leading change initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple risk and change management initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for tracking, reporting, and presenting risk and change data.
  • High level of professionalism, responsiveness, and a structured, results-oriented work style.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Adaptability to inter-cultural settings with strong empathy and interpersonal understanding, especially when managing change across global teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of hierarchy and functional departments.
