About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Process Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in structural thinking, strategic analysis, and have strong communication skills. Interdisciplinary collaboration will be essential, as the role requires working closely with diverse teams  across various departments within PowerCo Canada and our headquarter in Germany. This role requires a blend of structural thinking, the ability to analyze complex processes, expertise in process management and lean management. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are imperative to drive successful outcomes. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to contribute to the success of our company ramp-up and make a significant impact within our organization. Interdisciplinary thinking will be important as the position will be working closely with diverse teams across  various specialist disciplines.

 

This is a flex hybrid model, requiring 2 days in the St. Thomas office. This is subject to change based on the needs of the project and will eventually be fully onsite.

  
 
Key Responsibilities

•    Formulate and implement strategies for business process excellence and governance within Operations to enhance efficiency and productivity. 
•    Develop and implement all operational business processes across all production areas ensuring consistency with global PowerCo standards.
•    Monitor, analyze, and improve business processes and requirements within all production factories worldwide, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
•    Ensure that business requirements and system concepts are aligned across Business Units (BUs) and integrated into business processes, especially for digitalization projects. 
•    Ensure the provision of high-quality process tools and methodologies for Operations, including modeling of all business processes.
•    Analyze and align cross-divisional interfaces within Operations and adjacent BUs to ensure seamless integration and communication. 
•    Ensure all business processes comply with automotive industry standards, legal norms, VDA/IATF guidelines, and other relevant regulations. 
•    Promote a high level of training regarding processes and systems within Operations team.
•    Develop and maintain organizational responsibility charts (RASIC) aligned with business processes. 
•    Lead the transformation of the organization into a process-oriented structure to enhance operational efficiency. 
•    Oversee the Implementation of processes in SAP business program and other IT systems for Operations, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
•    Manage and optimize the Factory Development Process to support operational goals. 

  
 
What you bring to the Team

•    Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
•    7+ years of experience in Process Management, Lean Management, Operational Excellence, Consulting, or equivalent role.
•    Strong structural thinking and organizational skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize complex data.
•    Strategic and pragmatic thinking with a strong commitment to project objectives.
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office for creating strategic presentations and reports.
•    Extremely collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple issues and activities simultaneously in a highly professional manner.
•    Highly engaging and self-motivated, with responsive, structured, and results-oriented working skills; ability to deliver results within tight timeframes and work both independently and within a team.
•    Occasional travel within Ontario, as well as internationally (~10%).
•    Ability to maintain flexible work hours to account for time zone differences with Europe, when necessary, and willingness to work overtime to meet ramp-up deadlines.
