We are looking for a Head of BSI Battery Specific Infrastructure who wants to CELLebrate in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment. As part of the ramp-up team of our new Canadian location, you will report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) / Head of Planning and Production. You will support the COO / Value Stream Mapping and team in daily business operations, serving as the key link on the Operations Team for general ramp-up projects and being involved in a variety of activities.

How you will CELLebrate
|
Responsible for building the BSI team.
- Serve as the primary contact for the BSI team and task coordinator per Value Stream, liaising between internal departments, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and task assignments.
- Coordinate task execution, tracking progress and addressing any issues or bottlenecks to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Resource Coordination and Issue Resolution:
- Coordinate all needed BSI resources, including design and construction teams, to address open issues and challenges.
- Allocate resources effectively, prioritizing tasks and resolving conflicts to ensure the efficient closure of open issues.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment conducive to problem-solving and innovation.
Performance Monitoring and Team Development:
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to team members, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth and development in alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Construction Planning, Industrial Engineering, PMO, HSE, Logistics,
- Quality, HR, Finance (investment, taxes, etc.), Purchasing, and Product Management and align common areas.
- Follow up and alignment with the International Production Network (Salzgitter, Valencia & Dalian) for all processes
- Collaborate with Technical Support departments to setup equipment requirements and definition of standards for the Standard Greenfield Factory St. Thomas.
- Collaborating with Heads of Production across all PowerCo plants (China, Valencia, Salzgitter
etc.)
- Create synergies during the ramp up phase.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to processes, cycles, and systems
- Setting, monitoring, and driving achievement of BSI team’s KPIs which directly contribute to the overall plant’s KPIs

What you need for our CELLebration
|
• Education Required: BSc degree in Business Administration, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Material, or Chemical engineering, Master’s degree preferred.
• Years of Relevant Experience Required: Minimum 7 years of experience
• Years of Supervisory Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of people and functional leadership required
