Your role and key responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Coordinator, BSI Project - Document Control. This role plays a critical role for BSI Projects .Reporting to the Manager, BSI Construction. This role will be responsible for the management of the BSI timeline. Facilitating communication and coordinating tasks with the BSI team during design and execution. Managing contracts and costs within BSI’s defined scope of work. The role demands excellent overview on BSI project planning and delivery.

  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Provide strategic oversight and governance for project schedule, design development, and quality assurance by leading high-level coordination meetings with the local PM company; define meeting agendas, drive decision-making, and ensure alignment with PowerCo’s global project execution standards.
  • Drive the continuous development, monitoring, and risk-based adjustment of the end-to-end milestone program (permits, design phases, tendering, contracting, execution), ensuring transparency and proactive mitigation of timeline risks across all stakeholders.
  • Lead the validation of designer cost estimations, ensuring adherence to local market benchmarks, PowerCo’s cost baselines, and project commercial strategies. Oversee the preparation of monthly cost reports, including supplementary work and claims, and provide expert evaluation of technical justification, scope alignment, and pricing accuracy.
  • Act as the key interface for supplementary work/claims verification, establishing clear review methodologies and ensuring commercial compliance and robust risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in tender evaluation and award procedures, ensuring technical, commercial, and schedule alignment with PowerCo procurement strategies. Partner with legal, procurement, and PM stakeholders to ensure that contract award decisions are well-documented, risk-assessed, and aligned with global governance requirements.
  • Lead the weekly preparation and strategic interpretation of the PowerCo project dashboard, consolidating multidisciplinary inputs into high-impact insights for executive stakeholders. Ensure transparent, consistent reporting structures between PowerCo and the PM company through standardized reporting files and KPI-based performance tracking.
  • Coordinate acceleration strategies in case of delays, ensuring measures are technically feasible, commercially sound, and aligned with broader project priorities.
  • You will manage and control all BSI project documentation by ensuring accurate versioning, consistent standards, supplier submission governance, and reliable distribution of information, while coordinating document workflows across engineering, construction, commissioning, and supplier teams to maintain full traceability, compliance, and timely support of all BSI design and project deliverables.
 
 
 
  
 
What makes you stand out

Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

5-7 years of relevant experience in Project Management or related field 

Core Skills & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Construction Project Management
• Experience in Scheduling, Supplier management, project management, construction management
• Experience in Battery, Pharmaceutical, semi-conductor Clean & Dry room project management is preferred
• Ability to adapt to and maintain flexibility with the juggling of multiple projects
• Advanced competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Advanced competency with schedule software(MMP, Primavera. etc )
• Excellent competency with Project Environments(Autocad Cloud Construction, Aconex, Team Center, Omega 365, etc.)
• Working knowledge of OneDrive, SharePoint, MS Teams, Concur and SAP strongly desired
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Attractive Remuneration: The expected competitive compensation range for this position is $69,870 - $104,810 CAD, which includes base pay and target amount of short term incentive plan.
