Our company in St Thomas, Ontario, Canada, is in a significant phase of SAP S/4HANA implementation in the Logistics and Operations area to optimize processes and improve the efficiency of future products. We are seeking an experienced SAP Implementation Lead, Operations and Logistics , to implement SAP S/4HANA in the logistics sector in collaboration with other business units, leveraging extensive SAP knowledge and logistics expertise.

How you will CELLebrate

• Collaborate with the SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to design and execute logistics and operations workflows that align with the broader project goals and organizational strategies.
• Lead the planning, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA modules specific to logistics and operations, ensuring seamless integration with Finance, Procurement, and IT systems.
• Drive the transformation and enhancement of logistics and operations processes using SAP S/4HANA functionalities to deliver measurable business value and operational excellence.
• Spearhead the development of advanced dashboards and analytics tools to monitor logistics performance, operational efficiency, and system health, providing actionable insights to the Project Manager and senior leadership.
• Champion data migration and governance initiatives related to logistics and operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all migrated data.
• Implement enterprise standards for data quality and security within logistics and operations workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to harmonize SAP S/4HANA processes across departments, driving integration and alignment.
• Identify and address risks associated with logistics and operations processes, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure operational resilience and risk mitigation.
• Design and deliver specialized training programs and workshops for logistics and operations teams, equipping users with the knowledge to maximize the value of SAP S/4HANA.
• Act as the primary advisor for logistics and operations process optimization, providing tailored insights and solutions to executive stakeholders.
• Stay informed about advancements in SAP S/4HANA, logistics technologies, and operational best practices, recommending innovative solutions to enhance system functionalities.
• Support the Project Manager in executing comprehensive change management strategies, ensuring adoption of SAP S/4HANA solutions within logistics and operations.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to logistics and operations processes, ensuring long-term system reliability and optimal performance.
• Represent the organization in SAP forums, industry events, and conferences, showcasing expertise in logistics and operations transformation and fostering external partnerships.
• Provide detailed reports, metrics, and insights related to logistics and operations performance to the Project Manager and senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources for logistics and operations-related SAP S/4HANA initiatives, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery.
• Establish governance frameworks for logistics and operations, tracking performance metrics and resolving bottlenecks to align with organizational priorities. |

What you need for our CELLebration
|
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in Operations/Logistics: At least 7 years of experience in logistics/operations, ideally with a focus on warehousing, transport management, and distribution logistics.
- Practical experience in warehouse management, material flow management, route planning, and transportation.

• Process Optimization Knowledge: Experience in analyzing and optimizing logistics processes and implementing improvements.
• Experience in introducing Just-in-Time approaches and Lean methods to ensure seamless and efficient warehousing and logistics management.
• Market Knowledge: Commitment to actively engage with the challenges of new markets (Canada, North America, and globally regarding supply chains and subcontracting) and integrate this knowledge into the role.
• Extensive experience leading complex SAP S/4HANA implementations with a focus on logistics and operations.
• Proven track record of driving large-scale process optimizations, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering transformative results.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA configuration, integration, and advanced analytics for logistics and operations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, data governance, and risk mitigation in SAP environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA in Logistics: In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly in modules relevant to logistics (e.g., MM, eWM, TM, BN, iBP) and related modules such as FI, CO, MM, SRM, and PP.
• Experience with Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) to control and optimize warehouse processes and Transport Management (TM) for route and transport cost optimization.
• Configuration and Customization of SAP Logistics Functions: Ability to configure and customize logistics modules in SAP S/4HANA to reflect the specific requirements of internal logistics processes.
• Customizing warehouse and material flows in the eWM module to ensure efficient warehouse organization or in the BN and TM modules to implement “order-based” material movements along the supply chain.
• Data Analysis and Reporting in SAP: Proficiency in using reporting tools within SAP as well as external BI/BA solutions (LowCode/NoCode) to foster and create modern applications for logistics processes.
• Ability to create reports for inventory and lead times and use them for strategic decision-making.
• Information Management: Ideally, experience with blockchain processing of data and decentralized ledger technologies in complex information chains. |
