We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer who wants to CELLebrate in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment. As part of the ramp-up team at our new Canadian location, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability engineering. This role requires expertise in diagnosing mechanical failures, optimizing equipment performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and minimize downtime. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of maintenance across all phases of our state-of-the-art electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility. This role involves close collaboration with central teams and local departments to establish, implement, and optimize maintenance global strategies and operational needs.
The Maintenance Mechanical Engineer also coordinates resources across departments and ensures maintenance readiness from the pre-launch to the production phase, always focusing on optimizing equipment performance data, minimizing downtime through collaboration with production teams, maintaining comprehensive records of production and maintenance patterns, and contributing to global and local Lessons Learned (LL) networks to drive continuous improvement.
