Your role and key responsibilities

The Learning & Development Co‑op Student will support the end‑to‑end creation of training programs, including needs analysis, learning objective development, curriculum design, and the application of adult learning principles. They will assist with logistical planning, training delivery, and project coordination for a new training facility. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders across the business, conducting research, and supporting procurement and operational processes to help improve the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of training initiatives.

 

This position is in-person and located in the charming town of St. Thomas ON. Hourly wage is $27/hour.

  
 
What you bring to the team
  • Support the design and creation process of digital and in-person learning experiences
  • Prepare, participate in and evaluate learning experiences
  • Assist in learning material creation
  • Support the research and development of campaigns to promote culture and diversity within our workplace
  • Assist with project tracking, including communication with stakeholders, internal customers, and external providers
  • Support learning facility setup
  
 
What makes you stand out
  • Currently in a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Basic research and analytical skills
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Office and learning new digital tools
  • Collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred
  • Experience instructing or designing curriculum
