How you will CELLebrate

This is a temporary flex hybrid model requiring 2 days in the St. Thomas office, subject to change based on the needs and nature of this project. During certain phases of the build, a full-time onsite presence may be a requirement.

 

•    Optimize cell production processes, take into account on organization,  technical information, safety, cost, operation excellence.
•    Implement the value stream mapping
•    Develop the digital industrial engineering methods which can be implemented in cell production
•    Perform simulations and analyze the simulation results to improve the operational efficiency
•    Work with Value Stream Management team to define and implement the local continuous improvement plan
•    Analyze the production methods, identify and prioritize the areas of for improvement
•    Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation throughout all phases of cell factory ramp-up, and prepare thoroughly for audits.
•    Maintain the proper documentation at different stages of cell factory ramp up, prepare for audits
•    Facilitize Facilitate the industrial engineering workshops (3P, CIP, problem solving, etc.)
•    Analyze the bottlenecks  by using IE tools
•    Evaluate and improve the ergonomics of production and working environment
•    Facilitate and support training programs and qualification processesSupport the training and qualifications
•    Develop models for diverse operational scenarios and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Build the models for various operational scenarios, and propose the potential solutions to improve the operation
•    Work closely with other PowerCo departments, including value stream management, process, quality, automation, logistics, digitalization, maintenance, HSE (health safety environment) etc.

  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Project Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience of working in large scale production plant with sufficient knowledge of production organization
  • Experienced in the field of production and industrial engineering and production start up

•    Ability to analyzeanalyse production technologies and processes by the help of digital tools such as Siemens Teamcenter and Plant Simulation
•    Skills in value stream mapping
•    Ability to analyzeanalyse production technologies and processes
•    Strong analytical thinking with proven record of problem solving using tools
•    Knowledge of lean management and continuous improvement process
•    Ability to adapt to and maintain flexibility with the juggling of multiple projects
•    Exceptional comprehension and strong communication skills 
•    Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team
•    Ability to follow through and make significant progress in a fast pace, dynamic environment.
•    Ability to travel both within Canada/US and internationally up to ~ 10%
