How you will CELLebrate
|
• Partner with leadership, HRBP team, larger HR team, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s vision and business objectives, driving organizational performance, culture, and operational success.
• Provide insights on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, guiding them on leadership development, talent management, and performance improvement.
• Advocate for employee needs, addressing concerns and ensuring employees feel heard, supported, and valued.
• Manage investigations into employee complaints, grievances, or misconduct, ensuring thoroughness, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Support talent reviews and succession planning processes, identifying high-potential employees and ensuring readiness for key roles.
• Leverage HR analytics and metrics to provide actionable insights on workforce trends, engagement, and retention, making data-driven decisions that improve organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with leadership to make data-informed decisions that optimize organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
• Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies, advising leadership on relevant areas.
• Consult with leaders on writing job descriptions, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate with functional departments (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Occupational Health and HR Services) to integrate HR systems and processes in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Participate in strategic HR projects, driving continuous improvement in organizational processes, culture, and people management.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to enhance HR processes, ensuring alignment with business needs, culture, and best practices.
• Partner with the international ramp-up team at PowerCo SE in Germany to support global HR objectives and initiatives.
• Guide and train leaders on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Mentor and guide junior HR team members, providing coaching, support, and development opportunities to enhance contributions.

What you need for our CELLebration
|
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a similar field preferred.
• CHRP is strongly desired.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a Generalist or HRBP role with proven experience in different segments of the HR industry (recruiting, benefits & compensation, employee relations, administration, etc.).

What else can you bring
|
• Experience with start-ups and/or mergers and acquisitions is an asset
• Sound knowledge of Canadian employment laws and Human Resources best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is considered an asset.
• Experience in participating in HR strategy in a global or multi-location environment is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with data analytics.
• Strong project & process management skills with a proven ability to identify and incorporate opportunities for process improvement.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally.
• High level of discretion and protection of personal data.
• Customer orientation with a high degree of intercultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Task-oriented with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail.
• Stress tolerance to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and open-minded to adapt to the fast changes associated with the ramp-up phase. |
