The Change Management Engineer will manage and coordinate all change-related processes to minimize disruptions to the construction schedule, budget and maintain project integrity. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and implementing changes within the project, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, and maintaining clear communication among stakeholders.

How you will CELLebrate
|
• Develop, implement, and maintain a systematic change management process in alignment with project objectives and industry best practices.
• Ensure that all changes are documented, reviewed, approved, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify potential changes within the project scope, budget, and schedule, working closely with construction, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Evaluate impacts of proposed changes on project schedules, costs, resources, and quality standards.
• Coordinate change requests, assessments, and approvals, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient decision-making.
• Act as a central point of contact for all change-related issues, ensuring transparency and alignment across departments.
• Communicate approved changes to the construction team and relevant departments to ensure understanding and execution.
• Maintain a comprehensive log of all change requests, evaluations, approvals, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Ensure that all documentation associated with change management complies with regulatory and project requirements.
• Proactively identify risks associated with changes and work with the project management team to develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Implement measures to minimize the impact of change on overall project goals, with a focus on maintaining safety, quality, and project timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within change management processes, leveraging data and feedback to optimize procedures.

What you need for our CELLebration
|
• 5+ years working in the multi-disciplinary/complex construction industry (i.e., engineering-, architecture-, or construction-related, or equivalent), preferably with execution of industrial facilities.
|
What else can you bring
|
• Experience working specifically on large projects.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Can read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Understands the nuances of the design and construction process.
• Able to work safely on an active construction site in accordance with the Health & Safety Plan.
• Can communicate in a professional manner with engineers, architects, and construction managers both verbally and in writing.
• Has high degrees of team orientation and social competence.
• Detail oriented and will diligently ensure that components of the project meet the overall goal.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Primarily on-site at construction projects with some time spent in the office for coordination and planning.
• Certification in Project Management or Change Management (e.g., PMP, CCMP).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to large construction projects is an asset.
• Experience in Oracle ACONEX and Primavera is an asset.
• Experience working within large, complex project teams and actively participating in construction meetings. |
