In this significant phase, the role of a Purchasing Specialist becomes increasingly vital. As part of the operations team, which is at the heart of all production-related activities within our battery cell manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in supporting these efforts. The finance department, integral to this process, relies on the meticulous management of purchasing activities, especially for transactions below €50k. This role involves strategic sourcing, detailed contract administration, and fostering effective supplier relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring that every procurement decision aligns with PowerCo’s operational efficiency and financial prudence. Your actions and decisions will directly contribute to the smooth operation and success of our ambitious project in Valencia, as we aim to set new benchmarks in battery cell production.

As a key member of PowerCo's procurement team, your role as a Purchasing Specialist will focus on efficiently managing and optimizing purchasing activities for transactions valued below €50k. You are tasked with ensuring that each purchase aligns with strategic sourcing principles, effective contract administration, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Your role is critical in driving cost-effectiveness, ensuring quality and compliance, and supporting PowerCo's broader financial and operational objectives. Through your expertise, you will contribute to a streamlined purchasing process that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of internal stakeholders and reinforces PowerCo's market position. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the purchasing of general services with a value below €50k, aligning with PowerCo's strategic and financial objectives.
• Independently lead sourcing processes, including negotiations and finalization of single orders and frame contracts valued below €50k.
• Administer and enhance contracts for goods and general services, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of internal stakeholders.
• Spearhead the supplier onboarding process, integrating new vendors into PowerCo's supply chain efficiently and effectively.
• Manage and cultivate existing supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and overall value.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing.

• A university degree in economics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.

• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing and effective negotiation techniques.
• Proficient in contract administration, with a keen focus on compliance and optimization.
• Skilled in supplier onboarding and relationship management, ensuring a high-quality supply chain.
• A collaborative approach, aligning purchasing operations with internal stakeholder needs and contributing to seamless procurement processes.
