We’re seeking a dynamic and hands-on Production Supervisor to drive performance, safety, and operational excellence in our shopfloor operations. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of daily manufacturing activities — leading a skilled blue-collar team, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.

1. Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Lead and coach a team of shopfloor operators to meet production goals.

  • Set clear objectives and provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance reviews.

  • Foster a collaborative team culture based on trust, respect, and continuous improvement.

  • Mentor new employees and support individual development and upskilling plans.

2. Production & Process Excellence

  • Oversee daily production activities to meet delivery targets, quality standards, and equipment utilization goals.

  • Reorganize resources when required to respond to unplanned events and ensure production continuity.

  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean and VDA standards.

  • Ensure production documentation (e.g., standard work sheets) is accurate and up-to-date.

3. Safety, Compliance & 5S

  • Ensure a safe working environment in compliance with EHS regulations and PowerCo's safety culture.

  • Drive adherence to compliance standards including Lean, VDA, and integrity protocols.

  • Maintain high standards of workplace organization (5S) in all production and side areas.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the key communication link between shopfloor operations and departments like Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and 2nd-level problem-solving with cross-functional teams.

  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new operators.

5. Resource & Budget Management

  • Plan and organize production resources — personnel, machines, materials — based on efficiency and production plans.

  • Monitor consumables stock and place replenishment orders as required.

  • Support budget planning and track area-specific production costs to identify and reduce deviations.

  
 
Qué mas puedes ofrecer

 

  • Proven experience in production or operations management within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong people leadership skills and ability to drive team performance.

  • Sound knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, quality systems (e.g., VDA), and safety standards (EHS).

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and handle fast-paced, dynamic shopfloor conditions.

  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Technical background or vocational training in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Please submit your CV in English
  • Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance roles.

  • At least 2 years in supervisory or shift-leading roles.

  • Experience with utility/process infrastructure in battery, chemical, or pharma sectors.
