IT Infrastructure and Data Center Administration Expert (all genders)

In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization. 

PowerCo Spain seeks an IT Infrastructure and Data Center Administration Expert to maintain and enhance our data center operations and IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the high availability and security of our data systems and network.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and safeguard the data center's physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Oversee the administration of servers, databases, and networks, ensuring efficient operation.
• Implement robust security measures, conduct data backups, and disaster recovery operations.
• Collaborate with IT teams for system upgrades and integration of new technologies.
• Monitor system performance, anticipate potential issues, and provide proactive solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Solid experience in managing data center operations and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in network management, server administration, and database maintenance.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Weekend Commitments: Availability for on-call duties during weekends is mandatory for this role.
• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as per business needs.

• Certifications such as MCSE, CCNP, VCP, or equivalent.
• Experience in cloud computing and hybrid environments.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
