At PowerCo we celebrate collaboration, progress and that spark that turns bold ideas into real impact. From our new gigafactory in Sagunto (Valencia), we’re driving a project that’s transforming both the region and the future of clean mobility in Europe — and you can be part of it.

About the Role

This position sits within our Finance Department, one of the most diverse and cross-functional areas at PowerCo. The team brings together experts from IT, Communications, Institutional Relations, Purchasing, and Financial Controlling — all working together to support our fast-growing business.

Here, numbers meet strategy, technology meets people, and every decision helps drive the future of sustainable mobility.

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Support the control and tracking of costs by department and activity, helping ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Assist the Controlling Coordinator by collecting and preparing input from the assigned areas.
  • Review monthly deviations and support the analysis of budget vs. actual results.
  • Prepare basic financial analyses to support departmental decision-making, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and monitor financial performance.
  • Support the preparation of forecasts and budgets in collaboration with different departments.
  • Help ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal standards, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with department heads and internal stakeholders, supporting effective communication to help achieve financial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • You must be currently enrolled at UPV or UV, as we will sign a convenio with your university.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A long-term intern available from September for 6 to 9 months.
  • Availability of 25-30 hours per week.
  • Gross compensation: €6 per hour.
  • Fixed monthly payment, based on a pre-agreed schedule.

What you bring to the Team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Please submit your CV in English.
  • Possession of a disability certificate of 33% or more is valued. At PowerCo, we are deeply committed to diversity and inclusion — embracing neurodiversity, functional diversity, and all forms of individual difference. We believe diverse perspectives make us stronger and ensure everyone feels welcome, valued, and heard.

Power Perks
  • A unique opportunity to join a fast-growing organization driving the future of sustainable energy.
  • Flexible practica hours.
