Construction Logistics and HSE Implementation Expert (all genders)

We are excited to announce the progression of our cell manufacturing project in Valencia. In this critical phase, the Construction Logistics and HSE Implementation Expert will play a vital role within our Construction Management Department at PowerCo Spain. This position is crucial for managing construction logistics and ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards are meticulously implemented throughout our construction projects.

As a Construction Logistics and HSE Implementation Expert at PowerCo Spain, you will:

• Coordinate with 10-12 company contractors to ensure the construction site remains organized and compliant with the construction handbook, which includes vital HSE measures and standards.
• Manage the expansion and maintenance of temporary infrastructures essential for construction progress.
• Provide guidance and monitor compliance with the layout construction masterplan regarding space utilization, supplies, and machinery.
• Implement a LEAN management approach to all work instructions and standards to enhance efficiency and effectiveness on-site.
• Ensure that all contractors adhere to HSE standards while considering scheduling, quality, and cost objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact in regular HSE meetings, providing updates and sharing critical information regarding the construction project’s progress.
• Coordinate the preparation and handover of documents related to site facilities and HSE compliance.
• Support the transition of responsibilities to facility management upon project completion.
• Make key decisions regarding governance and operational models with contractors to ensure project success.

• A university degree in Engineering or Architecture, preferably with a civil background.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically in logistics and HSE implementation within large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple contractors and ensure compliance with strict construction and safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage complex logistics and safety challenges in a dynamic construction environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Proven decision-making skills with a strategic focus on project governance and operational efficiency.

• Advanced certifications in HSE or LEAN management methodologies.
• Experience in overseeing logistics and safety protocols in a manufacturing or industrial construction setting.
