To lead and coordinate all maintenance activities related to Battery Specific Infrastructure (BSI), including gas systems, vacuum lines, solvents, utility distribution, and safety-critical installations. Ensure legal compliance, operational availability, and continuous improvement in infrastructure performance, while supporting cross-functional goals and audit readiness in a multi-shift battery production facility.

Key Responsibility Areas 1. Team Supervision & Shift Coordination • Lead a team of BSI maintenance technicians across up to 5 shifts (trabajo a turnos). • Assign and oversee daily work tasks, ensuring alignment with technical and production priorities. • Ensure coverage for planned maintenance, urgent interventions, and shift handovers. • Mentor and evaluate technician performance, support development planning. 2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Execution • Ensure execution of all preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks on BSI systems including: ○ Process gases (N2, CDA, vacuum, solvent vapors) ○ Electrolyte lines, NMP recovery, VOC exhaust systems ○ Pumps, piping, tanks, instrumentation • Use CMMS (SAP PM) to manage work orders, resources, and asset history. • Ensure correct execution and validation of contractor interventions. 3. Legal Compliance & Safety Management • Guarantee compliance with PRL (Prevención de Riesgos Laborales), REBT, and ATEX. • Enforce proper use of PPE (EPI), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and permit systems for confined spaces, hot work, etc. • Lead incident investigations, safety audits, and preventive actions. • Support environmental risk compliance (VOC emissions, waste systems, REACH). 4. Infrastructure Monitoring & Troubleshooting • Coordinate monitoring of technical infrastructure via BMS/SCADA. • Act as escalation point for alarms, failures, or environmental deviations. • Analyze failures and define countermeasures in cooperation with Engineering. • Ensure fast and structured response to deviations affecting battery process media. 5. Documentation & CMMS Traceability • Supervise quality of data input in SAP PM, including part usage, root cause, and completion time. • Maintain up-to-date maintenance plans, technical documentation, and area checklists. • Ensure documentation supports external and internal audits (ISO 9001, IATF, VDA, SEVESO, ISO 14001). 6. Continuous Improvement & Standardization • Propose and implement technical improvements to increase infrastructure reliability and energy efficiency. • Promote Lean Maintenance tools: TPM, 5S, visual standards, technical routines. • Collaborate on project handover, commissioning, and standard maintenance plan design. • Drive training in new infrastructure systems and safety protocols. 7. Cross-functional Collaboration & Contractor Management • Coordinate activities with Engineering, EHS, Utilities, Production and Quality. • Supervise external providers during inspections, cleanings, calibrations, or installations. • Report infrastructure performance trends and needs to Area Manager.
