The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering. 

 

How you will CELLebrate

  • Invest cost calculation of battery plant projects
  • Bottom-up calculation of battery production equipment
  • Active driver of design-to-cost process for equipment 
  • Negotiation support in equipment purchasing process
  • Preparing analytical results for decisions on Board level 
 

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in electrochemistry/ chemistry or similar education

  • Experience in battery cell projects in development and production
  • More than 5 years professional experience in the battery industry or battery material industry
  • In depth understanding of Li-Ion cell, costing methods, project managment
  • Language: English fluent, German Basic Communication 
  • Soft Skills:

    • Engineering as well as entrepreneurial mindset
    • Communication skills
