The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
- Preparing Life Cycle Assessments for battery cells under consideration of the complete value chain
- Establishing a standard process for the generation of Life Cycle Assessments for in-house cell production
- Detailed analysis of process routes for different cell components with focus on sustainability and economic efficiency
- Deriving optimization potentials of battery cells and their sub-components in the framework of Design-to-Cost and circular economy
- Conducting technical negotiations with suppliers
- Analyzing data, documenting and presenting results
What you need for our CELLebration
- Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in process or environmental engineering, chemistry, material science, chemical engineering or similiar education, optionally a PhD in this research field
