The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
- Developing advanced anodes for next generation battery cells and evaluating active and inactive materials
- Developing and testing anode recipes according to specified product goals
- Planning and realizing experiments starting from laboratory scale to pilot scale
- Characterizing cell components using chemical, physical, and electrochemical methods as well as analyzing the results
- Executing literature and patent searches as well as market screenings and benchmarking of cell components
- Plannig and executing projects and initiating and maintaining contacts with international suppliers
What you need for our CELLebration
- Completed university studies, e.g. in process engineering, chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, physics, chemical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the field of electrode development
- Structured and responsible work
- Above-average ability to work in a cross-functional team
- High degree of initiative and joy in creative working
- Communicative skills in an interdisciplinary and international working environment
What else can you bring
- Preferably a PhD in the field of lithium-ion batteries
- in-depth knowledge in the field of battery anodes and anode materials
- English skills business fluent
