The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
- Expert positions as data scientist in the field of lithium ion battery R&D with focus on
- Data Management and Data System Architectures
- Computational Data Analysis, including automated data analysis and visualization
- Sophisticated mining algorithm (AI and machine learning)
- Specifying, developing and implementing Data Management and Data Storage Tools
- Ensuring data quality and implementing tools and frameworks for automating the identification of data quality issues
- Designing, coding, testing and implementing programs and scripts for automated and standardized data analysis and data visualization in the field of lithium ion cell validation and testing
- Close communication to PowerCo IT
What you need for our CELLebration
- University degree in a science area (electronics, physics, computer science, or other MINT areas)
- Proven working knowledge of statistical and data mining for causal analysis
- Strong expertise in processing and visualizing and analyzing big data as well as automating processes using a scripting language
- Solid understanding of Python, Matlab, JMP, SQL, and Tableau
- Experience in machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence
- Detailed knowledge of database systems and cloud storage systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, high level of analytical competence and Effective interpersonal skills to articulate difficult technical topics in close cooperation with battery cell and material engineers in international projects
- Fluent in English or German
- Good communication skills in an international and intercultural environment – willingness to travel internationally
What else can you bring
- PhD in field of science
- Any Asian language skills in are a plus
- Basic knowledge in lithium ion battery technology
