The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. This includes ESS (Energy Storage System) & non-automotive applications. The ESS organization takes care of the upstream storage value chain. Our responsibility includes research, pre-development of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of ESS components & storages. 


How you will CELLebrate

  • Contributing to the strategic orientation of the business area
  • Analyzing the market, environment & competitors of energy storage solutions
  • Creating forecasts and variance analyses, assessing opportunities and risks as well as developing business case scenarios
  • Deriving technical/economic requirements from the scenarios
  • Initiating new energy storage projects and, if necessary, expand existing ones 
  • Monitoring new projects and existing recycling solutions
  • Contributing to the preparation of committee documents and controlling of projects

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree, MBA, PhD  in the field of industrial engineering or similar education

  • Good knowledge about the business case calculation is desirable

  • Professional experience in the field of strategy, development and/or product planning of HV components (battery system, module, cell)

  • High level of customer and results orientation. 

  • Fluent English language skills

  • Willingness to travel
