With whom you will CELLebrate
The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
- Developing models and methods for the detailed description of physical and chemical processes in batteries
- Performing simulations for performance evaluation, taking into account the operating behavior of the battery in vehicle use
- Evaluating and analyzing simulation results to optimize electrode and material properties as part of the development process
- Calculating the thermal and mechanical behavior in batteries
- Developing suitable measurement methods for testing the battery behavior and validation of the simulation models
- Comparing experiments and simulation and in-depth evaluation of accuracy and predictability
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal development teams and external partners
What you need for our CELLebration
- Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, computer science, mathematics, engineering or a comparable qualification
- In-depth knowledge of battery materials, electrodes and battery cells
- Experience in modeling, programming or simulation
- Business fluent English language skills for our international team
What else can you bring
- Higher education related to lithium ion batteries, e.g. a PhD in the field
- High degree of initiative
- Excellent ability to grasp new concepts quickly
- High analytical competence
- Great communications, organization and project management skills
- Above-average ability to work in a team
What to look forward to
- Mobile work options
- Flat hierarchies
