(Senior) Expert Technical Project Manager Production Concepts (all genders)

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

  
 
How you will CELLebrate
  • Coordinate the technical interfaces within Operations departments and with all PowerCo departments 
  • Manage and coordinate complex technical topics in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams together with process area experts and series production planners
  • Manage changes in processes and products
  • Develop and coordinate PowerCo battery factory line blueprint concepts for current and next genaration equipment and factories 
  • Prepare project related strategic decisions for the management of operations and department overarching
  
 
What you need for our CELLebration
  • Successfully completed (master's) degree in process/chemical/mechanical engineering or similar education
  • Technical background in battery production and equipment and good understanding of process-product-interactions
  • Preferably several years of experience in series scale manufacturing processes and equipment, ideally related to battery cell production
  • High awareness for cost, quality and process KPIs
  • Above-average communication skills and ability to work in a team as well as business fluent English language skills

  • High level of self-initiative working
  • Experience in projects management and team coordination, esp. out of automotive industry
  • Intercultural competence and confident manner in international projects
  • Professional experience related to series scale battery cell manufacturing
